A studio is a hard room: flat surfaces, high ceilings, no soft furnishing, and one voice that has to stay intelligible over music while nobody in the back row strains to hear it. Consumer speakers on a shelf do not solve that, and turning them up makes it worse.
What usually brings someone to us.

- Two fixes, both layout: more speakers at lower output rather than fewer pushed hard, and a microphone path tuned so the voice sits above the music instead of competing with it at the same frequencies.

- Hard rooms need speaker placement and tuning designed for them. Where the room itself is the problem, we say so — some of what a studio needs is acoustic treatment, and no amount of amplifier fixes a bare parallel wall.

Studios are small systems where the design matters more than the budget. Getting the speaker count and the voice path right at the start costs less than any of the ways it gets fixed afterwards.
