Where we work
Rooms we know before we walk in
The same disciplines land differently in a loud bar than in a boardroom or a boat yard. Each page below covers what usually brings someone to us in that kind of room, what goes in, and which services it draws on.
Bars & Restaurants
Most of our hospitality work starts the same way: the system technically works, and nobody on staff can drive it. A manager is on a stool with a fistful of remotes at six on a Friday. That is a design problem, not a training problem.

Offices & Corporate
The meeting starts at ten and at 10:06 somebody is still hunting for a dongle. Conference rooms fail in the first two minutes or not at all, and almost every failure is a design decision made months earlier — the wrong microphone for the ceiling height, a room system nobody standardised, a table with no way to plug into it.

Schools & Education
A school is dozens of rooms that all have to work the same way, operated by staff whose job is teaching, and maintained by a small team who cannot be in two buildings at once. What matters is not how impressive any one room is — it is that the hundredth room behaves like the first and can be fixed without a specialist.

Nightclubs & Venues
A venue is not a loud restaurant. It has to be intelligible at the door and physical on the floor, it has to look like a different room at eleven than it did at seven, and all of it has to be driveable by whoever is on shift — not only by the person who commissioned it.

Retail & Showrooms
Retail has two technology problems that get solved separately and should not be. The first is knowing what happened — at the register, at the door, in the stockroom. The second is that the point-of-sale, the cameras, the music and the guest WiFi are usually all on one flat network, and the busiest hour is when that shows.

Fitness & Wellness
A studio is a hard room: flat surfaces, high ceilings, no soft furnishing, and one voice that has to stay intelligible over music while nobody in the back row strains to hear it. Consumer speakers on a shelf do not solve that, and turning them up makes it worse.

Hotels & Hospitality
A hotel is several buildings' worth of technology wearing one uniform: a network guests review you on, public spaces that need to sound and look considered, function rooms that have to earn their booking, and back-of-house systems nobody sees until they fail.

Multi Family
Multi-family technology has three audiences with different needs and one budget. Residents want to get in without thinking and let a delivery in from wherever they are. Management wants a record and a way to revoke access the day somebody moves out. And whoever owns the building wants none of it replaced in three years.

Houses of Worship
Worship spaces are the hardest rooms we work in and the most constrained. They are large, reverberant and often historic, so what can be mounted and where is limited. The service has to be intelligible everywhere, it usually has to reach people at home as well, and the person running it on a given week is a volunteer who was shown once.

Marinas & Yacht Clubs
A waterfront property is a hard site in every direction. Distances are long and often have water in the middle of them, there is rarely conduit where you want it, the electrical environment is unforgiving, and everything installed is in salt air year round. Hardware specified for an office fails here in a season.

Your room not on the list?
These are the ones we are asked for most often, not the limit of what we do. Describe the space and we will tell you what it takes.
